Just having fun, making some funky postcards!.

Seems that 'macro' photography, for those that are in the know - is done with a special lens - well I'll be darned (I've only just stumbled on this bit of info whilst googling and falling into a photography site). I'd best save my pennies - I think its time I should get me one of those!
This second picture doesn't have a bug in it - but it would look great with a bug wouldn't it!!?? Ha ha.
The amazon series, if you hadn't hazard a guess by now - is just a little bit of fun, play and loads of imagination!

Heide Museum of Modern
Art and Gardens: Around every corner, was another flower,
plant, interesting
tree, or sculpture
to photograph - an 'outdoor gallery' - an absolute proliferation of
public art! Great company, a
picnic, my camera - what more could a girl want! *Smiles*
The gardens at Heide Museum of Modern Art are as integral a part of the organisation as the artworks themselves. Heide’s sixteen acre site offers an ever-varying, tranquil environment of majestic trees, shrubs, flowering plants and paddocks that extend down over the river flats to the banks of the Yarra River. From the famous Kitchen Garden, formal perennial walks and parterre gardens to woodlands and parkland dotted with contemporary sculpture, the overall effect of Heide’s gardens is one of intimate discovery.

Deep in the heart of the Amazon, umm...err... ok.. .......At play in my backyard, then! You can tell by the weeds, ha!
Then there's this one, which was taken in the beautiful rambling natural gardens within the Heidi Art Gallery and Gardens heritage property.
Again, with many of late, I
wouldn't call this my 'style' ... (the photos I wish to take/create). It may even
appear, as I've changed my 'style', but that's not actually the case. I simply
reflected for a moment, and realised there is no use continuing with trying to
'hone (whatever) my style (is)' without ever knowing how to better create/photograph the simple
basic images, such as flowers, insects, landscapes etc. So,
concurrently, I'm blogging quite a few, well, what you'd call the typical
photographer' style, (not what I wish to be remembered for), but solely for the
purposes of an additional learning curve. Regardless... its all still fun! and thats the main thing! Just like this little butterfly - I really think he's looking at me, in fact I'm sure he is...and smirking!
(Who knows, he may even be 'rolling his eyes' at me too! ha ha).
